Today’s photo is a simple cloud image which I captured on my latest trip to the big apple. I love to look outside the window of the airplane and watch all these fluffy huge cotton balls-its my favorite part of the whole experience.

I don’t know about you but I love newborn photos. You see the potential that one little life has in store for them. Newborns bring such love to their parents. When you finally see whats been in your stomach for 9 months, you fall more in love then you already were with your baby. As a women, you fall in love with your baby as soon as you see the positive sign or the “pregnant” on the famous pee stick. Â LOVE. Thats all I see in this photo. LOVE.

Lights, camera annnnd action!
Todays photo is my absolute favorite.! My model, Damien is my nephew who I think is the cutest little boy alive — and yes, I am being a little bias but I can’t help it. He is the light of my eye. I’ve never been more in love with someone in my whole 25 years of life. They said that  when you have nephews or nieces before you have kids, you learn how is its going to be when you have a child. IT’S TRUE! I love him like if he’s my own. I worry for him, I put his needs over mine whenever he’s around! I urge all to embrace being an aunt or uncle and spoil your little rugrats.

What started as a Mayan ashtray has become my vision of tranquility. The simplicity of the rocks aligned with the crystal is absolutely a moment of zen. The crystals marry perfect with the fern fossils and the rocks that my son often brings home from the playground. This collections is my defintion of tranquil. To me, it creates balance in life, its like aligning your chakras. It gives you propective. even though our lives are crazy and sometimes we feel like we are walking on burning coals, we know that Mother Nature is aligned and we are one with earth. We are zen.

Hardwork. Some of you might say that being a photographer is not hard work and we only have to take a photo. WRONG! Being a photographer is not our only job! We are accounts, writers,web developers, social media savvy, and much more. Photography is a full time job- but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
PixieFlo is my full time job. I dedicate hours of my day just to make everything un as smoothly as I can possible do. I’m fairly new with everything that I have experienced. I learned how to make a website from scratch with minimal help from googles how-to’s or how to make a website for dummies. I’m actually pretty proud of my work on pixieflo.com — Check it out! As for my camera skills, I learned a lot in the past few months. I’ve learned that my body can bend in ways I never thought I would bend just to capture a perfect image to show to client. I’m happy about the pain when see a beautiful image was taken.
